World Rally Championship:The good operation ... Hirvonen?

Sebastien Loeb is close to a seventh consecutive victory in Spain. But Mikko Hirvonen may be the author of the best operation at the end of the penultimate race of the season ...

Back on asphalt, Sebastien Loeb continued to lead the rally today. Sébastien Ogier quickly forgot all hope of the podium in dying this morning. At Ford, Jari-Matti Latvala has shown his talent and ability of the Fiesta RS WRC to shine on the surface by being the fastest of the day. As for Hirvonen, he provided only to stay ahead of the MINI.

And probably the same Hirvonen will make the best transaction. Even two minutes behind the leader, Hirvonen will be given the second place by Latvala (it stopped in the two previous rallies to inflate the capital of his teammate). A result that he could hardly hope before departure. In this case and out Power Stage, Loeb would take seven point lead over Hirvonen with Ogier to 18 points behind the leader. That's enough to make a good chance to be titled Hirvonen in Britain although there too, it will be far from favorable.

This further highlights the character of some capital items that will be distributed tomorrow during the final stage. Sebastien Loeb would do well to score more points in the Hirvonen Power Stage!
