Kimi Matias Raikkonen (born October 17, 1979 in Espoo, Finland) is a Finnish racing driver, world champion of Formula 1 in 2007 and currently involved in the World Rally Championship . The media have dubbed the "Iceman" because of its ability to keep his cool under all circumstances.

He made his debut in Formula 1 in 2001 with the Swiss Sauber team. In 2002 he joined the McLaren-Mercedes in which he twice finished runner-up in the world in 2003 and 2005. After five seasons, but failed to win the title, he joined the Scuderia Ferrari. In his first season in his new team, he became world champion on the line ahead of Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso at the end of the final Grand Prix of the season in Sao Paulo.

In late 2009, Ferrari puts an end to its contract with Raikkonen, which encouraged him to leave Formula 1 to convert in the World Rally Championship, within the Citroën Junior Team. In 2010, he finished his first season in the WRC in 10th place in the championship.
